I premiered this costume at Anime Central, 2012! I made my Blue Rose costume from scratch, (aside from using pre-made gloves and boots, which I added onto), and I have to say it was one of the most laborious costumes I've taken on thus far! I still have to add a few things, like the thorns and back boot details, plus holsters. I will try to update Blue Rose for Anime World Indy, this July! Considering getting/making a new wig. I butchered a super long Denpa Onna wig to make my Blue Rose wig, and it came out interesting, but I think it could be better.
My Blue Rose is far from perfect, I'll be the first to tell you that. Still, I really like this photo, so I wanted to share Anna's work. I have much to thank of her for getting such a flattering shot of me, since I'm really good at derping in photos. If I just wanted to show you my costume, we'll I'd put it on right now and get out my webcam, but it is this photo that I think truly looks beautiful, not so much me.
