The name of the first game is "The Precursor Legacy", and the franchise in general, being "Jak and Daxter". After all, the PSP game is also called Jak and Daxter, but the specific title is called "The Lost Frontier". Also, do not forget that the entire trilogy released for PS3 is referred to as the "Jak and Daxter Collection" and "The Jak and Daxter Trilogy".
Besides, she was introduced in the second game too. >.>
But yeah, based on the original trilogy, Jak II and Jak 3 is what I designed my Tess cosplay on :3
I could seriously play these games for forever. I might just have to get the PS3 trilogy since my original backwards compatible PS3 died, boo I still have my PS2, but couldn't hurt to have the whole trilogy in HD either
But if it's any consolation, it's pretty close to a slightly offbeat version, which I think is from the PSP game. I know there's the red-bronze look that seems to be the norm for the PS2 versions, but I couldn't find any metallic spray paint in that color. I pondered over this dilemma, but this color scheme seemed to be a good compromise. ^w^ At the very least, I could have done more to give it more texture. If I ever find a redder bronze color, it'd be no hassle to make another orb. ;D
That is dreadful, indeed! Ratchet is another one of my loves <3 It's pretty much the reason I got the first generation PS3, just so I could play that game. XD I feel bad though, since I haven't even played A Crack In Time. I could have this summer, but I guess it never really ranked high on my mental to-do list In hindsight, I regret that!
Aww, why thank you :3 Jak and Daxter are still my favorite games, and I'm a bit sad Naughty Dog didn't carry them over to the PS3 with brand new games. Just imagining how lush the environments would look, and how sharp the characters would be makes me drool 8O..0

Same. I've got the HD Collection sitting in my room along with the Sly Collection Yea, Naughty Dog is too busy dealing with dragging Uncharted 3's MP into a presentable condition and hyping up The Last of Us.
So sad to see childhood icons die out, only to be replaced with gun-crazy mercenaries
Yeah, it is. Admittedly, we were all afraid of J&D turning into that when the more angsty Jak II came out, since it was starkly different from the innocent and colorful first installment. In hindsight, I think Jak 3 really made the trilogy work. It compensated for the first game's lack of drama, and the second game's lack of charm, and made one neat enjoyable game. ^_^ Not to be all technical, because I love the games regardless! <3 I just think the third really made it all tie together so well
