Shame we couldn't have had Danny P. and Jazz stay with us for the shoot, but despite that, Raus (as Danny) and I had a blast being in this photoshoot! I never really dreamed that I would ever cosplay as Ember McLain, so to see these photos, it makes me smile uncontrollably, and wonder who the heck that girl in the body paint is. Thanks so much to my friend Stvo for being Danny at Anime Central 2012- knowing that he was going to go as my favorite ghost, I *had* to team up and be Ember, my favorite villain from Danny Phantom. With that in mind, I even got two other friends to be Jazz and Danny F., and lucky for them, their cosplays were much easier and more casual. Mayhaps I might do a Paulina found-item, since I have the perfect wig for her, and I'd love to find a Sam and Tucker in the near future. <3 I hope to wear my Ember cosplay again soon!

This is one wicked awesome cosplay! O_o At first I thought Nick was doing some live action Danny Phantom movie (as they had with FoP) because the costumes are so well done and the photography excellent. Great work all three of you!

What kind of body paint do you use? This looks smooth or applied very carefully. It turned out brilliantly stunning!

This body paint is two mixtures of Ben Nye, mostly white with a hint of blue. Honestly, it was flaking everywhere, but I don't think that was a fault of the paint, but rather what I used to seal it, hairspray. A lot of people recommend hair spray to set makeup and paint and the like, but I'd only recommend it as a last resort, and the weaker the better. For me, it just shrinks the makeup and makes it flake off (also did this with an eyeliner "tattoo"). Probably the best way to seal makeup is to get a setting powder, but I've yet to do this. In other words, I'm not really a reliable source for info on body paint, I'm fairly inexperienced with it. XD

This more accurately shows the state of my makeup. Luckily, it's a light color, so it got smoothed out by overexposure on most people's cameras (how convenient for me!) or during postediting.
